Mull - October 2014

On average, the dog otter went out fishing once a day for 5 to 6 hours. One day we tried to count the number of fish that he caught - we lost count at just over 100 ! He liked to fish in slightly deeper waters just off shore. Every now and then he’d catch a fish that was too large to handle in the water so he’d bring it to the shore to eat. After eating he often rolled about in the seaweed or had a quick (or sometimes not so quick) nap on the shore.
